Advent Giving Tree
This ministry is done in cooperation with the Newark Schools. St. Michael’s partners with the School District to provide gifts and food to those families in need.
Food Closet
An ecumenical group of volunteers stock shelves and assist those receiving food. It provides for people in emergency situations that are referred through the Red Cross.
Poor Fund
Monies are distributed locally for help with food and gas through the generous donations of our parishioners. Please contact June Sherman at (315)331-6753 or via email at june.sherman@dor.org for more information.
St. Pauly Clothing Drop-Off Box
Donations of clothing, shoes (in boxes), and bedding are collected in the shed located in the school parking lot. Clothing will be redistributed to those in need and proceeds from the donations will go to fund St. Michael’s youth programs. Parent and youth volunteers are needed.
Migrant Ministry
This ministry primarily helps we La Casa, which is located in Sodus and provides migrants with temporary housing. Please call the Catholic Charities for more information.
